poem

Sliding through the doors of compliancy that close behind you with an alarming click.
Don’t open your eyes, it might not be what was expected while wading within bubbles of regret that pop unexpectedly, of course they do.
I’ve fallen off again, and the landing is soft.
But when did normal become complacency…happiness become acceptance?
Learn to love it…or leave it.
But trying to change, is when imperative becomes a world I never asked for, and a laugh at a joke that wasn’t funny.
